Erection Works

Erection work takes fabricated items and plant equipment and puts them safely in position: structural steel erection, equipment and machinery installation, conveyor and support structures, tanks, ducting and pipe supports. Work includes rigging and lifting arrangements, setting on foundations, alignment and levelling, bolting or site welding, and grouting. Erection is planned around site access, crane movement and the working schedule of the plant, including shutdown windows.

   Erection planning

   Sequence, lifting arrangement, access and safety measures are worked out with your site team before mobilising.

2. 02

   Setting out

   Foundations, anchor bolts and reference lines are checked and corrected where required.

3. 03

   Lifting and fixing

   Members and equipment are lifted, positioned, aligned, levelled and secured.

4. 04

   Final check and handover

   Alignment, bolt tightening and welds are checked, temporary supports removed and the area handed over.
